I am a pre-sales engineer for a hosting company w/ a cloud computing portfolio. All of our cloud services are VMware based. In addition, I operate a small lab out of my house to try and stay sharp. Although I hold a VCP in VI3 and vSphere4. Being on the pre-sales side of things it is challenging to stay sharp w/o hands on experience.

Initially, I would hoard the prices (I won’t lie). Eventually, once I have soaked in an as much as possible (or as much as is necessary to achieve my VCAP), I will share this material w/ my team. We don’t have the training budget to send everyone to a VCP bootcamp. However, we do have some self starters that can benefit from this much material.

The SRM and scripting material are really intriguing. I own the Mastering vSphere book and use it as an everyday reference.

        Thanks for the opportunity.

Ugh – sorry for the repost – but I could not stand the errors in my original.
